Streamlabs Alerts Step 1: Adding an Alert Box Widget on Streamlabs Desktop
Add a Widget Source
- Open Streamlabs Desktop and add a Widget source to your scene.
- Resize the widget box to match the size of your alert file.
Streamlabs Alerts Step 2: Creating a New Widget Theme
Visit the Streamlabs Widget Themes Page
- Create a new widget theme and name it.
- Refresh the page and click the “Use” button next to your new theme.
Select the Widget
- On the right, under the “Scene Collections” column, find your active scene collections in Streamlabs Desktop.
- Select the widget you just created from the dropdown menu.
- Save your settings and return to the Streamlabs Alert Box page.
Streamlabs Alerts Step 3: Uploading the Alert
Install the Alert
- Install each alert one by one.
- Ensure youโve selected the correct Widget Theme, visible at the top right of the page.
Configure the Alert
- Choose the alert tab you wish to add.
- Select the appropriate layout (most themes use the middle option).
- Under the “Image” heading, select your alert file.
- Adjust settings like Alert Duration and Text Delay. For more details, check the Products Read Me page.
- Save your settings once youโre done.
Streamlabs Alerts Step 4: Testing the Alert
Test the Alert
- Open the Streamlabs Desktop app and click one of the test buttons at the bottom.
- If the alert is set up correctly, it will appear on your screen.
- Repeat these steps for each alert.
Additional Tips
- Ensure the text layer is above the rest of the Facecam layers to keep it visible.
